1. 2025 – 2026

    Other Shapes

I'm a design engineer at Other Shapes, a studio that builds automation for businesses. My main job is running the studio's go-to-market: setting the strategy, then carrying it out day to day.

I'm also designing, building and delivering automations for our clients, and writing our weekly newsletter.

  2. 2023 – 2025

    Marks and Spencer

I'm a senior product designer on the Personalised Discovery team at Marks and Spencer, after M&S acquired Thread. My main job is bringing the technology we built at Thread, especially personalisation and AI, into the M&S shopping experience.

I'm helping people understand their personal style, then using it to personalise how they shop at M&S.

  3. 2021 – 2022

    Cardano

I'm a product designer at Cardano. My main job is designing the interfaces for governance, grants and voting, where the community decides which projects get funded. Between late 2021 and mid 2022, those funding rounds gave out more than $31 million to almost 1,000 projects.

I'm making sure all of it is communicated safely and clearly: how voting works, which projects win, and where people's money goes.

  4. 2019 – 2021

    Thread

I'm a product designer on the Growth team at Thread. My main job is to understand what turns new customers off shopping online. Most of our customers are men aged 30 to 45, many shopping for clothes online for the first time.

I'm constantly talking to customers, analysing data and designing the Thread experience to meet our growth and style goals.

  5. 2018

    Mystery Vibe

I'm spending the year sharpening my coding and engineering skills, while still doing some design for tech startups in London and San Francisco. My main job is leading front-end engineering at Mystery Vibe, a London startup, where I spend most of the year.

  6. 2016 – 2017

    Feedr

I'm the lead product designer at Feedr, a London startup providing group catering for companies. My main job is making sure a whole team can eat together, whatever their diets, so no one feels left out.

I'm designing the system, the experience and the interface for feeding large teams with different tastes and needs.

  7. 2015

    Shortlist

I'm the lead designer at Shortlist in Palo Alto. My main job is to bring human recommendations to hiring online, cutting the cost and time of filling senior roles in finance.

I'm rebuilding Shortlist's visual identity and designing its mobile and desktop apps.

  8. 2009 – 2014

    Freelance

I'm working as a freelance designer and developer, with clients including BBH, Universal Music, Sony Music, the NHS, Adidas, Puma and Nike. My main job is helping brands look and work well online, from identities that grow with their products to digital, print and graphic work for Adidas's e-commerce.
